Yesterday, I experienced one of the most profound moments of my life: I took my daughter to college. As we left the campus, a flood of emotions overwhelmed me. I managed to hold it together until we pulled out of the parking deck, but then I couldn't hold back the tears any longer.

It felt as though I was reliving her entire life in those few moments. The joy of her birth, her first steps, first words, and first tooth—all those precious milestones flashed before my eyes. Each memory brought a wave of emotion, making it feel as though I was experiencing them all over again. The floodgates opened, and I was swept away by the realization of how much we've both grown and changed over the years.

Raising a child is a journey filled with countless sacrifices, hard work, and immeasurable joy. Every sleepless night, every moment of worry, every ounce of effort—it all culminates in these pivotal moments. Yesterday, as I watched my daughter embark on this new chapter of her life, I realized how worth it all of it was. Every single moment.

We are releasing her to grow, bloom, and flourish. It's a beautiful transition.  Watching her step into her own, ready to face the world, fills me with pride and hope. It's a testament to the love, guidance, and support we've provided, and to the resilient, capable young woman she's become.

As I reflect on this, I am reminded of the comforting presence of our Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for your eyes being on and your hands being upon each of our sons and daughters. Thank you for your goodness and your mercy following them all the days of their lives. Knowing that they are held in your loving care gives me peace and reassurance as we navigate these new beginnings.

To all the parents out there experiencing similar emotions, know that you are not alone. This journey of letting go is both challenging and rewarding. It's a testament to the incredible job you've done raising your children. Cherish the memories, celebrate the milestones, and embrace the new beginnings with an open heart.
