Manatha Funderburke Young is a wife, mother, mentor, visionary, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and most importantly, a Servant of the Lord. She is joyfully married and the proud mother of five daughters, each a reflection of the legacy of faith and purpose she is building.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, on May 11, 1998. She was later licensed as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at The Park Ministries (formerly University Park Baptist Church) under the leadership of Bishop Claude R. Alexander, Jr. on March 31, 2001. During her time there, she faithfully served as Young Kingdom Citizens Youth Church Leader, Youth Prayer Leader, and Teacher, shaping young lives with compassion, clarity, and conviction.

An anointed, Spirit‑filled preacher and teacher, Manatha carries a God‑given passion to inspire fruitful thinking, awaken dormant gifts, nurture creativity, and equip lives for greatness. Her ministry is marked by boldness, authenticity, and a deep desire to see God’s people walk in the fullness of their purpose. She has ministered at numerous conferences, seminars, and congregations, declaring the Word of God with power and grace.

She is the Founder of Fruitful Living Incorporated and This Place Ministries, both created to empower seeds of destiny that produce lasting fruit at every age and stage of life. Through motivational speaking, life coaching, conferences, seminars, and workshops, she cultivates environments where transformation can take root and flourish.

Her scripture of meditation in this season is John 15:16–17: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.”
